sooo as i mentioned before i have a few new projects in my head and here i am again sharing the next one with you. this kind of goes along with this post, and thought i'd go from making necklaces, to trying bracelets. same concept, different angle. i am pretty pleased with the way these turned out and am really excited to finally share with you all. all bracelets have toggle closures, or like the necklaces, they are simply tied with ribbon. also - if you have something in mind you'd like to see... i'm open to all options. feel free to put my creative mind to use!

red hot red carpet.

gotta love the oscars. every year it's something different to look forward to. who will win best picture? best actress? best documentary (banksy, i still love you)? best song? best screenplay? but for me... the best part of it all is the red carpet fashion. who is wearing who. what the trends are. what jewels are shining. all of the above. this year's show definitely didn't disappoint. the red carpet was red hot with vibrant gowns on anne hathaway, jennifer hudson, jennifer lawrence, and penelope cruz.

other favorites included the always classy halle berry, reese witherspoon, hailee steinfeld, and cate blanchett. although each was unique in its own way i do have to say that i loved the detailing in cate blanchett's dress. ahhhhmazing.

but my all time favorite of the night head-to-toe easily goes to mila kunis. loved her look top to bottom.

...and it's that time again! i have finally had some a little bit of free time recently where i am able to start creating new pieces and be able to get them out there. i've always had a thing for chunky necklaces, statement jewelry, and what i have created is a perfect example. more are in the making and i have some great ideas i've been playing around with. i can't wait to share with you all! i will be selling these, so email me if interested!

nyfw: trends i love.

with NY fashion week wrapping up, i have constantly been on style.com everyday to see the latest and the greatest. i have seen tons that i loved, and plenty that i didn't care for. below are my favorite trends that will be up and coming for fall 2011.

all in all i enjoyed looking at the new trends and fashion predictions for fall 2011 and i am excited to see what is in store in the fashion world. i do have to say that my favorite collection this time around goes to marc by marc jacobs. he never fails.

the ysl palais mohawk pump & miu miu calf hair leopard sandals. yep i still want them and still think about them all the time. being that i have had my go-to steve madden leopard shows now for several years, i'd say it's time for a new pair. these miu miu ones would be perfect. and the ysl mohawks? yep those too. you can A-never go wrong with black. and B-never go wrong with throwing some pzazz in the mix. wishlist? i think yes. done and done.

happy valentine's day.

hope those of you reading this are spending today with the ones you love whether it be family, friends, or signifcant others. be sure to tell the people in your life who you care about just how much they mean to you!

no cars go.

so the week was starting to be pretty mediocre until maybe about wednesday or thursday when i was at work and i got a request to book a rental car for the band arcade fire (oh you know, one of the headliners at coachella..). you may remember me talking about my love for them in this post, and they are definitely one of my favorite bands. i haven't had the chance of seeing them live, and through work last night, i was able to go to their private show. the show was kept a secret until thursday when hints were given out on twitter on where to buy tickets and the venue wasn't released until yesterday to only those who bought their tickets. well i was fortunate enough to go to the show via work, and as i am always a fan of small, intimate venues, this was no exception. the ukrainian arts center in LA was filled with around 500 die hard arcade fire fans, and the band played an amazing hour & a half set. they literally played all of my favorite songs, old and new, and i couldn't have asked for more.
