...off to costa rica yet again, but with the family this time. i couldn't be happier about a vacation at this point in my life. let's hope costa rica is the prescription i need to get rid of this headache that i have had going on for a week now....

so as i was doing my daily blog reading last week, i see this picture of mary kate and ashley olsen from the CFDA fashion awards and i realize that i have seen that picture before elsewhere. and then it hits me. my other brother who works as a celebrity photographer for patrick mcmullen is finally having his work published..and the best part? it's being published in blogs that i read daily. everything from... olsen's anonymous, because im addicted, just jared - on this link you can actually see that the photo is by him at the bottom, nytimes.com, & huffingtonpost.com. really, i couldn't be happier for him.

sooo as i mentioned before i have a few new projects in my head and here i am again sharing the next one with you. this kind of goes along with this post, and thought i'd go from making necklaces, to trying bracelets. same concept, different angle. i am pretty pleased with the way these turned out and am really excited to finally share with you all. all bracelets have toggle closures, or like the necklaces, they are simply tied with ribbon. also - if you have something in mind you'd like to see... i'm open to all options. feel free to put my creative mind to use!

red hot red carpet.

gotta love the oscars. every year it's something different to look forward to. who will win best picture? best actress? best documentary (banksy, i still love you)? best song? best screenplay? but for me... the best part of it all is the red carpet fashion. who is wearing who. what the trends are. what jewels are shining. all of the above. this year's show definitely didn't disappoint. the red carpet was red hot with vibrant gowns on anne hathaway, jennifer hudson, jennifer lawrence, and penelope cruz.

other favorites included the always classy halle berry, reese witherspoon, hailee steinfeld, and cate blanchett. although each was unique in its own way i do have to say that i loved the detailing in cate blanchett's dress. ahhhhmazing.

but my all time favorite of the night head-to-toe easily goes to mila kunis. loved her look top to bottom.
