one tuff cuff.

normally i don't really like the look of cuffs, and i 100% prefer bracelets, but this season jcrew's collection has completely changed my mind. each one is different in it's own way. from shape, to texture, to color, to even fabric choices. everything is so unique in it's own way.

hats off.

with the colder weather coming hopefully coming soon, i can't seem to stop thinking about the newly refined, modern, perfect for fall fedora. the wide brim fedora. similar to a panama hat- which usually screams summer - this one has that colder weather look that i am just 100% in love with. it's made of wool, so it is made of a thicker material, and comes in a rich camel color with a black contrasting ribbon. or you can also find it in a crisp all black. both are vertsatile, and i keep picturing it with multiple fall necessities that i have mentioned in previous posts. for $37.07, i'm soooooolllld.

now the real question is...
camel or black? camel or black?

tailored trousers.

so i was in palm springs with the girls this weekend for my friend's bday and a couple of the girls and i got into a lengthy discussion of what's in right now, whose styles we like, what fall trends we can't live without, etc. ever since that convo i can't get the thought out of my head. i need some trousers. yearning for a pair. just that fitted-oh-so-perfectly, high waisted pair is all i need. paired with a simple neutral top, throw on a blazer, and you're set. dress it up with sky high heels, dress it down with some ballet flats you name it. and if you're really feeling it, throw on some ankle booties. all are perfetly acceptable with this fall essential.

i officially have my eye on these right now:

zara high waist trousers.

the search begins now...yes please!

more bootie please.

i never really liked the style of ankle booties until it finally hit me this season. and now i'm obsessed and can't stop thinking about them. they are so versatile. skinny jeans, tailored trousers, skirts, dresses, all of the above. yes, yes, yes, and yes. i was browsing the BCBGeneration website and came across 3 pairs that i can't stop thinking about. of course the three i saw were in different colors - brown, gray, and black and of course three different styles - chunky heel, stiletto, and wedge... so naturally i want all of them.

rain, rain go away.

ok ok - so i know i asked for colder weather, but what i really meant was colder weather and NO rain. i swear in southern california we have the weirdest weather. last week it was scorching hot hitting the hundreds in many cities, and here we are now, the beginning of october, with pouring rain. literally i feel like this came out of nowhere. well, regardless, i guess this puts me in the mood for rain whcih has got me thinking about my necessities for the rain. i need some new rainboots!

i have been wanting hunter rainboots since the end of last year, and i think (hopefully) i will finally make my purchase. i was obsessed last season with the jimmy choo for hunter rainboots. the crocodile print, the height, the peek of the inside lining. yes, yes, and yes. too bad the $425 price is really steep and completely out of my price range.

so while browsing the internet one day i came across christian siriano's version of the jimmy choo for hunter boots. while they aren't exactly the same, the come pretty damn close. for a fraction of the price, i'm dying to find these bad boys. i can't seem to find them anymore! :(

so unless i can find the christian siriano ones, or i somehow come across a huge sum of money, looks like my purchasing will be put on hold. although...there is always the option of the classic hunter boots.

annnd now i'm on the hunt!

fashion crush.

rachel bilson. props go to her. everything she wears never goes unnoticed. from casual days running errands, to dressing up at red carpet events, rachel bilson's style is classy, chic, fashion forward, and she is always a risk taker. everything is effortless and pure perfection in my eyes.

i think my next new purchase is a red purse. something versatile. something that adds that pop of color to any outfit. beginning the search... now!
