since i'm going to NY next week for my spring break, it's only appropriate that i see what's in store at the topshop online store before i actually get to NY.  while LA may be lacking a topshop now, it won't last for long.  coming to the grove in hopefully november of 2012 (but possibly february of 2013) will be LA's very own topshop.  and boyyyyyy we can't wait!

music monday.

while i may not have physically been at ultra music festival in miami this year... it sure felt like i was there thanks to all the live streaming on youtube this weekend.  i would have loved to watch it all weekend long, buuuut i actually had things to do this weekend... so i watched as much as i could.  there were hundreds of djs coming together of this one weekend and i must say - i was definitely impressed.  dirty south's set was amazing along with kaskade, afrojack, &; fedde le grand's as well... but gareth emery's was definitely one of my faves - playing an incredible mix of trance, house, and top 40.  listen to his set below... and relive UMF!

episode five.

and finally the last outfit from the pitter pattern x plums & pearls photo extravaganza.  we made our way to the streets of santa monica on our way to dinner and experimented with the lighting and the area we were in.  wearing one of my favorite semi-recent purchases from y&i boutique.  i seriously searched high and low for the perfect chevron dress and stumbled upon this one.  it pretty much fits the bill perfectly.

music monday.

as you all know, i was in vegas this pst weekend to see kaskade.  his set was amazing as always and he definitely didn't disappoint.  one of the highlights of the night was him playing 'in my mind' by ivan gough & feenixpawl.  axwell, also known as 1/3rd of the swedish house mafia did an incredible remix of 'in my mind' and the song has been on repeat for days now.  let's just say i can't wait for coachella!

i admit i've been a little MIA the past few days, but school has taken over my life.  between coordinating group projects for every single one of my classes and studying for midterms, it's been a little hectic.  having said that, there is one thing keeping me going: i get to see KASKADE tomorrow in vegas! it'll be a turn around trip, going for only one night, but it'll be worth it.  i can't focus on anything right now i'm so excited!

episode four.

and here is episode 4 (or outfit #4 - whatever you want to call it) of the pitter pattern x plums & pearls photo shoot.  decided to go with something a little more business casual inspired by my presentation for one of my MBA classes i had the following day.  scored these trousers on sale while shopping with mom one day and couldn't be happier about the find.
